A Gay Century, an epic in 17 episodes: Trailer

'Peter Scott‐Presland is the founder/director of Homo Promos and a long-term stalwart of LGBT+ theatre. In September, he will take part in our Virtual Symposium to discuss his work in LGBT+ narratives and creative production.

Most recently, he has completed a cycle of chamber operas called 'A Gay Century'. The operas, set from 1900 to 2001, feature a cavalcade of famous faces: from Noel Coward to Oscar Wilde, Radclyffe Hall to Bosie.

Originally intended as a 12-piece cycle, the project has grown to incorporate more stories and currently numbers seventeen. Watch the trailer below or visit Peter’s YouTube page or website.
